As Head of Logistics at Hydreco Hydraulics, you will play an active role in shaping our company's success.
Key responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for goods receipt, warehousing, order picking, shipping and transport
- Technical and disciplinary management and further development of the logistics team
- Optimisation and further development of all logistics processes in terms of efficiency, quality and costs
- Ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with service level agreements
- Controlling and monitoring key performance indicators and deriving appropriate measures
- Planning and controlling the logistics budget
- Selecting, managing and negotiating with external service providers and freight forwarders
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations (e.g. occupational safety, customs and dangerous goods regulations)
- Close cooperation with purchasing, production, sales and management
Requirements:
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a management position in logistics
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse and transport logistics as well as process optimisation
- Experience in working with ERP and warehouse management systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial thinking and an analytical and structured approach to work
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Business fluent German, good English skills an advantage
